Setup and daily work
Build the daily record
As you complete the day's log, focus on what another person will need to understand later: who was there, what happened, and what affected progress.

Best for: Field staff completing the daily report · Requires: Daily Log write access.
Overview and weather
Add overview photos or videos, check the day's weather, and record general notes. Use notes for useful context that does not fit a structured entry.
Labor and organization hours
- Personnel records company labor by trade and workforce details.
- Your organization's Hours records internal employee hours.
Use Repeat from the last log where it is available to save time, then review and correct the copied values for today's actual work.
Equipment and materials
Record the equipment used and material quantities for the day. Your equipment choices come from the organization's managed inventory, which requires separate access to manage.
Deliveries, dumpsters, and inspections
Create a separate entry for each delivery, dumpster event, or inspection so the details and evidence stay clear. Daily Log inspection results can be Passed, Failed, or N/A. These are field-report entries and are separate from the project's Inspections workflow.
Delays
Select the delay types that apply and explain what was affected clearly enough for someone reviewing the record later. Once you record a delay, the log is marked in the index.
