Delete photos or an album

Before you delete anything, confirm whether you mean to remove individual media or the entire collection.

Best for: Photo managers · Requires: Photos write access and ability to modify the album.

Delete selected photos

1. Open the album.
2. Enter selection mode.
3. Select the media.
4. Choose Delete and confirm.

Delete an album

Open the album menu, choose Delete, and confirm. This deletes every photo in the album too, and you cannot undo it from the Photos interface.

Download a retention copy first when required. If only the album title is wrong, edit it. If the media belongs somewhere else, move it instead of deleting the album.
