Troubleshooting project setup

New Project or Add Project is missing

1. Confirm you have Projects write permission.
2. Confirm your Level of project access is All Projects, not Only projects I belong to.
3. On mobile or native, open the actions menu on All Projects and look for Add Project.

A project name is rejected as a duplicate

You cannot create another project with the same project name and project number combination. Change either value and try again.

A Drawing Area cannot be removed

A Drawing Area with published drawing pages cannot be removed from General Project Settings. Keep the area, or manage the published drawing records before changing the structure.

The Drawing Areas or Sub Projects checkbox is disabled

After a project is already using multiple Drawing Areas or Sub Projects, the setup checkbox is locked. You can continue adding supported entries, but you cannot turn the established structure off from that checkbox.

A settings block is missing

Check, in order:

1. Your permission for that tool.
2. Whether the organization has enabled the related capability, such as Revenue Codes or an accounting integration.
3. Whether the organization's package includes the block.
4. Whether your browser supports the feature, especially Bulk Export.

A hidden project is not in the project list

On All Projects, switch to card view if needed, open the actions menu, and select Show Hidden Projects. Then open the project and use Project Visibility to unhide it.
