Changing status and deleting
Changing the status directly does not send the approval or distribution notifications sent by Open Submittal and Close and Distribute Submittal. For the usual workflow, use those guided actions.

Best for: Submittal administrators · Requires: Write access; deletion has separate permissions.
- Move to Draft is available from Open.
- Move to Open is available from Draft or Done.
- Move to Done is available from Draft or Open.
- Delete Submittal cancels the record and removes it from normal use.

Only the latest revision can be deleted. The delete confirmation states the action cannot be undone.
