Configure Desktop Notifications

Use Desktop Notifications to control your in-app unread indicators and optional browser push.

Best for: People working primarily in a browser · Requires: A supported browser; browser push requires site permission.

1. Open My Account → Notification Preferences → Desktop Notifications.
2. Enable the Desktop notifications master switch.
3. Approve the browser permission prompt if it appears.
4. Under Channels, enable the entity types that may produce browser push.
5. Select Send Test Notification to test the current browser session.

The master setting controls in-app blue dots. Channel switches control browser push by entity type, and push is sent only when the Channels subscription level also matches the activity.
