The 60-second drawing model

Think of the drawing system as one flow:

Drawing area → Drawing set → Sheet → Confirmed identity → Published revision → Current drawing

• A drawing area keeps one related plan collection together.
• A drawing set is one upload package, such as an issuance, addendum, or bulletin.
• A sheet is one page extracted from that upload.
• Confirming verifies the sheet number, title, date, and discipline.
• Publishing releases that revision to people who can view drawings.
• The Drawings page shows the latest published revision of each logical drawing.

For example, suppose ASI 3 contains a new A101. Upload ASI 3 as a new set in the same drawing area as the existing A101. Confirm the sheet as A101, then publish it. Constructable adds it to A101's history and makes the new revision current instead of creating a separate plan collection.

The two rules that prevent most problems are:

1. Keep related revisions in the same drawing area.
2. Confirm sheet numbers exactly and consistently before publishing.
