Finding and managing current drawings
Using the Drawings page
Use the Drawings page as your project's current drawing index. It shows the latest published revision of each sheet in the selected drawing area.
Use the Drawings page as your project's current drawing index. It shows the latest published revision of each sheet in the selected drawing area.
Best for: Everyone with View drawings access · Outcome: Find and open the current published plan.
This is different from Drawing Sets, which is where drawing administrators manage uploads, reviews, and unpublished pages.
Choose a view
On desktop web, you can switch between:
- List view for sheet metadata, selection, and bulk actions
- Thumbnail view for a visual scan of the plans
Your preference is saved. Phones and the native app use thumbnail view to make the page easier to navigate by touch.
Thumbnail cards emphasize the sheet number, title, and preview. Open the sheet and use its revision selector when you need details that are easier to scan in desktop list view, such as the drawing set or full revision history.
Browse discipline groups
Drawings are grouped by discipline. Select a group to expand or collapse it, or use Expand All and Collapse All.
You may also see:
- Starred for sheets you've marked as favorites
- Uncategorized for drawings without a discipline
Starred sheets still belong to their normal discipline. The Starred group is a shortcut, not a separate copy.
Understand the list columns
List view can show:
- Sheet number
- Title
- Revision
- Sheet date
- Drawing set
- Tags
- Available actions
The index has a deliberate project order based on discipline and sheet position. Column-header sorting is not available. Drawing administrators can change the shared order from Edit/Reorder Disciplines & Sheets.
Open a drawing
Select a sheet number, title, or thumbnail to open the latest revision in the drawing viewer. When you exit the viewer, Constructable returns you to your previous view, expanded groups, and approximate scroll position.
If you expected to see a sheet but it is missing, check:
- The selected drawing area
- Active search or tag filters
- Whether the sheet was confirmed but not published
- Whether the latest revision was unpublished
For more ways to locate a sheet, continue with Finding drawings with search, stars, and tags.
