Build the inspection structure

Organize the checks in the order your inspector will perform them in the field.

Best for: Inspection managers · Requires: Inspection write access.

1. Open a draft.
2. Complete the overview: title, description, inspection date, trades, inspected-by user, and general attachments.
3. Select Add Section.
4. Name the section for an area or system.
5. Add checklist items with clear pass criteria.
6. Move sections and items up or down to match field sequence.
7. Remove unused items or sections.

Write each item as something the inspector can observe, such as Firestopping is complete at rated penetrations, rather than a vague label such as Firestopping.
