Create, import, or duplicate an inspection

Choose the starting method that gives you the structure you need without bringing stale evidence into a new inspection.

Best for: Inspection managers · Requires: Draft access; write access for broader changes.

Create a draft

1. Open Inspections.
2. Select Draft Inspection.
3. Enter a title and overview details.
4. Save the draft.

Import structures from another project

1. Open the create menu.
2. Choose Import Inspection Structure.
3. Select the source project.
4. Select Import.

Constructable copies every inspection as a new draft, including its sections and item structure. Observations and attachments do not come with it, so you can add evidence for the new project.

Duplicate one inspection

Open an inspection's action menu and choose Duplicate Inspection. Before you use the copy for the next occurrence, review its title, date, inspector, item results, and attachments.
