Using Deep Research and recent questions

Turn on Deep Research when a one-question request needs more synthesis. Use recent questions to reopen completed work.

Best for: Broader questions that need more synthesis · Available when: The one-question interface is enabled.

1. Write the question first.
2. Enable Deep Research.
3. Submit and allow the answer to complete.
4. Open Recent Questions to revisit completed, non-deleted questions.

Deep Research can take longer than a standard answer. You can cancel a running request. Cancellation ends that request; it does not delete prior completed questions.

When the workspace uses Chat-style AI, recent work appears in the Chat inbox instead, and Deep Research is not shown in Search.
