Using the desktop agent panel

Use the agent panel to keep Chat beside the project page you are reviewing.

Best for: Asking about current work without leaving the page · Requires: AI Chats permission and desktop web.

1. Open the relevant project page.
2. Select Open agent panel in the page header.
3. Ask a specific question about the record or task you are viewing.
4. Use All Chats in the panel to open another personal Chat or start a new one.
5. Select Close agent panel when you need the full page width.

The panel and full Chat page share the same conversations. Each message sent from the panel includes the current page title and address as untrusted context; the standalone Chat page does not add this page metadata. Page metadata is not the same as reading the record, so identify important details and verify any linked source records.
