Manage spec divisions and sections

Set accurate section boundaries so people land on the right pages and selected-section exports contain the right content.

Best for: Specification managers · Requires: Specs management access; desktop web recommended.

Use edit mode to:

• Add or rename divisions.
• Add or rename sections.
• Set section numbers and titles.
• Assign the page where a section starts.
• Reorder the structure.
• Remove obsolete divisions or sections.

Deleting a division removes its sections from the active specification structure. Deleting a section removes it from browsing and export selection. Before you delete either one, confirm that the content is truly obsolete. If only a name or boundary is wrong, edit it instead.
