Configure Daily Log Settings and Equipment

Use these organization-level blocks to keep field reporting and shared equipment consistent across projects.

Best for: Field administrators · Requires: Organization Settings write permission; inventory actions also require the material-management permission.

1. Open Organization Settings.
2. Edit Daily Log Settings and save the reporting defaults your organization uses.
3. Open Equipment to add or edit equipment.
4. Use Archive for equipment that should no longer be active.
5. Enable the archived view and use Unarchive to restore equipment.
6. Use Hourly Cost Rates when your role has the dedicated rate permission.

These are organization records. Project Daily Logs use the shared configuration, while the records themselves remain project work.
