Review Roles and Permissions

Use the permission matrix to compare what each role can do across your organization's capabilities.

Best for: Access reviews and onboarding design · Requires: Manage permissions for all user roles.

1. Open Roles and Permissions.
2. Review the Internal, External, and, when shown, Archived role groups.
3. Search with Search permissions....
4. Expand permission groups and read the customer-facing action labels.
5. Review each role cell:
   • OFF means the action is disabled.
   • ON means it is enabled.
   • ON with a summary means a level-of-access choice limits it.
6. Use Actions → Download as PDF or Download as CSV for an offline review.

Built-in role defaults give you a starting point, but your organization may customize them. Check the current matrix when you need to confirm access.
