Open a role cell when you need to enable or disable an action or choose its access level.

Best for: Admins tailoring an existing role · Requires: Manage permissions for all user roles.

  1. Open Roles and Permissions.
  2. Find the permission row and role column.
  3. Open the role cell.
  4. Turn the permission on or off.
  5. If an access-level choice appears, select the intended scope.
  6. Save.
  7. Review dependent child permissions.

Examples of access-level decisions include All Projects versus Only projects I belong to, all RFIs versus non-draft RFIs and the user's drafts, and all meetings versus only meetings where the user is a participant.

A restricted permission is not fully disabled. Someone can still act within the scope you selected.
