Use organization Financial Settings to establish the defaults and financial behavior your projects share.

- Open Organization Settings → Financial Settings.
- Select Edit.
- Review:
- Track Materials Stored
- Default Retention Percent
- Hide Budget Codes on Owner Pay Applications
- Billing Period Due Date Day
- Require Cost Type on Line Items
- Hide First Level Cost Codes
- Lien Waivers
- Save.
Default Retention Percent is used when creating new commitments; the commitment's default then applies to new line items. Billing Period Due Date Day accepts a day from 1 through 31 and is used when billing periods are created automatically.
