Creating and preparing a bid package

Use a Bid Package to keep one solicitation's details, bidder communication, and responses together.

Best for: General contractor preconstruction teams · Requires: Bid-management permission.

1. Open Preconstruction → Bid Management.
2. Select Add Bid Package.
3. Enter a specific package name and save.
4. On Bid Package, complete the overview, including the manager, due date, project description, instructions, and package attachments available in your workspace.
5. Add bid scopes when bidders should price separate portions of work.

Scopes shape the response form bidders receive. Without scopes, they enter one bid amount and a Scope narrative. With scopes, they enter an amount and notes for each assigned scope.

Use the package activity area to review important changes. Rename the package from Actions if its identity changes; editing the title does not create a new package.
