Bid management follows this flow:

Bid management follows this flow:
Bid Package → Select Bidders → Distribution → Bidder response → Received Bids → Optional Commitment
- A Bid Package holds the project description, instructions, due date, attachments, manager, and optional bid scopes for one procurement effort.
- Select Bidders shows eligible companies from your organization directory that are not already on the package's bid list.
- Distribution is the working list for invitations, messages, statuses, contacts, scopes, tags, and delivery history.
- The Bidder Portal lets invited companies review the package, state Will Bid or Will Not Bid, and submit their amount, notes, and attachments while the package is open.
- Received Bids collects submitted responses for review, PDF download, comments, and optional commitment creation.
Takeoffs follow a separate but related flow:
Takeoff Set → Category → Item → Drawing marks → Totals and costs → CSV or PDF
A Takeoff is an estimating workspace tied to drawing markup, not a bid response. For detailed calibration, measurement, viewer navigation, and drawing-based export behavior, see Constructable Drawings Help Articles and Creating and exporting drawing takeoffs.
