Reviewing costs and exporting Takeoffs

Export your Takeoff marks as quantity data or a marked-up plan package for review and handoff.

Best for: Estimators preparing review or handoff material · Requires: Access to the Takeoff and its drawings.

• Export a category or full set to CSV for category, item, total, unit, multiplier, multiplied total, unit cost, and total cost.
• Export to PDF when recipients need the marked locations on the selected sheets.
• Include a Takeoff legend when the PDF needs to explain item colors and symbols.
• Review selected sheets and items before exporting; incomplete or private estimating work should not be distributed accidentally.

Deleting a Takeoff Set removes its categories, items, and related drawing markup from normal use. Delete only when the whole estimating workspace should leave active use. Rename the set when its label is the only problem.
