Create a Quality Item

Add enough detail for the next person to find the condition, understand the expected correction, and verify the result.

Best for: Field and quality teams · Requires: An open list and Quality Item write access.

1. Open the Quality List.
2. Select Add Item.
3. Enter a specific title and description.
4. Choose a location and trade when applicable.
5. Set start and due dates.
6. Choose an assignee and approver.
7. Add subscribers who should follow the item.
8. Add attachments or existing project photos.
9. Save.

As the creator, you remain a subscriber so you can follow the work. If the item depends on another task, create or connect the dependent item and check that their dates make sense together.
