Add and maintain companies

Create a company once in the Global Directory, then reuse it on projects.

Best for: Owners, consultants, subcontractors, and other external businesses · Requires: Company-provisioning permission.

1. Open Global Directory → Companies.
2. Select Add Company.
3. Enter the required Name.
4. Choose Type when known.
5. Enter Website when available.
6. Review any similar-company suggestions or duplicate-name warning.
7. Select Add Company.
8. On the company profile, complete the relevant blocks and add company people.

Company type helps place the company into the appropriate Project Team category. If a company has no type when it is first added to a project, the selected project-team category supplies its type.
