Find companies and people

Use the Companies tab to find a business and the People tab to find someone's membership and contact details.

Best for: Finding an existing record before creating another · Requires: Global Directory access.

To find a company:

1. Open Global Directory.
2. Select Companies.
3. Search companies by name.
4. Filter by Type when needed.
5. Open the company name to view its profile.

Your organization is pinned with the other company-style records. Use Name, Trades, Type, Active Members, and Date Added in the company grid to confirm you have the right record.

To find a person:

1. Open Global Directory.
2. Select People.
3. Search by name, email, or job title.
4. Open the person's name.

The People grid shows Name, Email, Role, Job Title, Company, and Status. Contact fields still depend on contact-information permission.
