Choose the narrowest action that fits your goal so you do not remove access from unrelated projects.
Best for: Project closeout, company changes, and employee or partner offboarding · Requires: Project write permission for Project Team removal; internal- or external-user provisioning permission for deactivation.
To remove someone from one project:
- Open the project, then select Management Tools → Team.
- Open the person's actions.
- Remove the person from the Project Team.
To remove a company from one project, use the company action in the appropriate Project Team section.
To deactivate the person's broader membership:
- Open Global Directory → People.
- Open the person's profile.
- Select Actions → Deactivate user.
- Confirm.
Project Team removal leaves the directory membership available for other projects. Deactivate user marks the organization or company membership inactive and is the broader offboarding action.
