Following one Topic, Thread, or record

Use the bell on an individual record when you want to follow it more or less closely than the rest of its channel.

Best for: Following one critical issue without increasing an entire project's volume.

1. Open the Topic, Thread, bid, or other record that shows a bell.
2. Open the bell menu.
3. Select the desired level.
4. Use Reset to defaults when the record should inherit broader settings again.

An entity override is personal. It does not subscribe another teammate or change the record's sharing. The bell menu links to both personal defaults and project-specific settings when broader changes are needed.
