Troubleshooting collaboration and notifications

A Topic or comment is missing

1. Confirm that you are in the correct project and record.
2. Check whether the Topic is active or archived.
3. Confirm the Topic was shared with you or with an audience you belong to.
4. Ask an administrator to verify Topics and Comments permissions.
5. For drawing content, confirm the sheet, revision, and markup visibility.

A Thread is missing from Threads

Threads shows conversations you are involved in, specifically follow, can see through an All Activity override, or can access as internal project discussions. Confirm access to the parent record first. Then clear filters, including the default Open filter if the Thread was resolved.

A person was mentioned but received nothing

Confirm that the person can access the parent record, belongs to the project when required, and has not selected Do not notify me at the entity, project, or personal level. Then check whether email, desktop, or mobile delivery is enabled. The event creator does not normally need a notification about their own action.

Notifications are too noisy

Check settings from most specific to broadest: record bell, project channel, then personal channel default. A record-level override wins over project and personal defaults; a project override wins over the personal default.

Desktop or mobile notifications do not arrive

Confirm the delivery toggle is enabled, the browser or operating system has granted notification permission, and the current device is registered for mobile notifications. In-app notifications can still appear even when an external delivery channel is disabled.

Mark All as Read did not change subscriptions

That action dismisses current in-app notifications for the project. It does not alter future notification levels. Use notification preferences to change future alerts.
