Reopening, changing status, and deleting
The delete confirmation tells you that deletion cannot be undone. Draft and active RFIs use separate delete permissions. When a Closed RFI documents project direction, reopen and correct it instead of deleting that history.

- Reopen RFI returns a Closed RFI to Open.
- Permitted users can choose Move to Draft, Move to Open, or Move to Closed to change status directly. Moving to Draft removes the active number. When work needs to resume on a Closed RFI, Reopen RFI makes that intent clearer.
- Rename RFI changes the subject while the record is editable.
- Delete RFI changes the record to Cancelled and removes it from normal use.
