Respond and complete
Responding to an RFI
Respond when you have enough information to answer the question or provide the next piece of project direction. Your response and any supporting files become part of the RFI's history.
Best for: Assigned respondents and permitted project members · Requires: Respond to RFIs and an Open RFI.
Respond when you have enough information to answer the question or provide the next piece of project direction. Your response and any supporting files become part of the RFI's history.
- Open the RFI.
- Review the question, impacts, due date, and attachments.
- In Responses, select Respond.
- Enter the response and add supporting attachments.
- Submit the response.
You can edit or delete your own unaccepted response while the RFI remains Open and you retain response access. Once a response is accepted or the RFI closes, coordinate reopening it if a correction is needed. This keeps the original answer visible in the project history.
