Choose an export based on the record you are sharing and what the recipient needs to do with it.

Choose an export based on the record you are sharing and what the recipient needs to do with it.

Best for: Anyone distributing financial information · Outcome: Avoid sending the wrong scope or stale snapshot.

  • Use Budget CSV for spreadsheet analysis.
  • Use Budget PDF for a readable report snapshot.
  • Use Payment Application PDF for formal invoice presentation.
  • Use Commitment or Change Order PDF for contract documents.
  • Use report PDF exports for a filtered current view.
  • Use project closeout financial sections for handoff packages.

Confirm filters, pending-change settings, Billing Period, and status before exporting. Generated files do not update after the underlying records change.

Treat financial exports according to the project's confidentiality rules. A user's permission to generate a file does not determine how broadly it should be distributed.
