The Prime Contract represents the project's agreement with the owner and provides the SOV used for owner billing.

Best for: Project managers and financial administrators · Requires: Prime Contract access.

To begin:

  1. Open Prime Contract.
  2. Select Add Prime Contract.
  3. Choose the owner company and enter the contract details.
  4. Build or import the Prime SOV.
  5. Review billing types, revenue codes, and contract documents before using the contract for owner billing.

The Prime Contract tracks owner revenue. To track a subcontractor's cost, create a Commitment instead.

From the Prime Contract, permitted users can prepare documents for e-signature, download a PDF, manage Owner invoices, and review PCOs. Deleting a Prime Contract can affect revenue, invoices, and Budget Report history, so prefer correction or Void where the workflow supports it.
